"Lecture on spiritual help and healing according to Groening"

Traditional medicine today can boast of outstanding achievements. Nevertheless, people are not healthier. Great interest was shown last Saturday at the lecture "Spiritual Help and Healing" in Schwyz.

With the growing consciousness of holistic medicine, increasing attention is also being given to spiritual healing. Around 150 people gave proof of this in Schwyz when they gathered at the Mythen-Forum on Saturday. The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends had invited them to a lecture. The organization numbers around 60,000 members worldwide. Among its supporters are medical doctors and representatives of other health care professions. "They investigate and reliably document the healings that have taken place spiritually according to Groening’s teachings," says Peter Jud by way of introduction. The man from Prättigau is the Swiss representative of the Circle of Friends. "It isn’t a matter of a new religion," he emphasizes. "It is much more a matter of a fundamental knowledge found in all the great religions and ancient cultures".

From hectic activity…

"We live in a time of rationality and hectic activity," began Ruth Wyler. The lecturer is a dentist and lives in Dolothurn. Orthodox medicine today can boast of outstanding achievements. Nevertheless there are more people who are incurably ill. Many of them seek alternative ways. One possibility is an ancient form of healing. Paracelsus, among others, also knew of this. It concerns the life force that permeates everything, the divine energy.

… to healing

The prerequisite for a general understanding is the recognition that man consists not only of a body, but also of a spirit. "’This healing stream is subject to certain laws," said Wyler. To tune in to the energy one must open himself up (uncross his arms and legs); further steps include positive thinking, firm belief and a request for wellness. "Tune in twice a day to these divine energies and keep loading your batteries," Jud advised.

Purpose in life thanks to the Healing Stream

Various healed persons report on their recovery from migraines, hearing loss, arthritis, depression and addiction. One can absorb the power for oneself or for others, explained Ruth Wyler. She herself successfully applies the technique with children to take away their fear of the dentist, among other things. The knowledge of this healing stream has given her life purpose. It is also important after healing not to revert back to the old negative thought patterns, warned Jud.

Bruno Groening lived from 1906 to 1959 in Germany. From birth on he had healing powers. In the fifties he attracted worldwide attention through his extraordinary healings. Groening left behind the knowledge of the "absorption of the Healing Stream." "Never say that I healed you," he used to say. He was just the transmitter for a higher power. Groening never made a business out of his ability. Nevertheless he was time and again vehemently attacked by his opponents.
