"Energy from the other world has saved me"

Doctors had given up all hope of healing these people; patients who suffered from rheumatism, bone atrophy and neurodermatitis. The teachings of the miracle healer, Bruno Groening, cured them. In this series Das Neue Blatt presents the most spectacular results.

Severe rheumatism at the age of 33: mother of five faces the possibility of life in a wheelchair.

Her Joints ached, her hands were swollen and her energy was on the wane. Dagmar de Meester (now 44) from Hennef-Sieg suffered from severe rheumatism for years. "I was a physical wreck" she said. "I could only be on my feet for five minutes a day and then I could no longer stand the pain."

Getting dressed in the morning was torture for the 33 year-old, as she then was. "I took me 45 minutes. The joints of my hands ached so much that I often cried because of the pain. In addition my fingers were badly deformed. I could no longer stretch them.

Cortisone and the numerous rheumatic medications which her doctor had prescribed brought no relief. "The worst thing was that I could no longer lift up my youngest daughter because the pain was unbeatable" complained the mother of five.

Desperate for help, Dagmar de Meester sought advice at her local hospital's outpatient department for rheumatic complaints. In vain, for there were no therapy vacancies. "I was told that the rest of my life could be in a wheelchair" she recalls,

She first heard about the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends from a neighbour, whose friend had also suffered from rheumatism but had been healed. "This naturally awakened my interest and for the first time I experienced a feeling of hope."

A few days later she attended an informatory talk at "The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends" in Kassel. "The talk gave me confidence and I felt sheltered in the group. And all at once I knew - here I would be helped. Together with other sick people seeking help I experienced the healing stream for the first time."

To do this, Dagmar de Meester sat upright on a chair, with her hands, palms upward, on her lap. "We call this 'attuning oneself'. At the same time I thought of something pleasant. I imagined that I was running across a soft green meadow with my children. Suddenly I felt a tingling sensation throughout my body. Then my hands became warm and the pain died down."

From then on Dagmar de Meester tuned in to the healing stream twice a lay. "Two months later I could go shopping again. I was back in circulation."

Eventually Dagmar de Meester could stretch out her fingers. Gradually the deformations also disappeared. "Spiritual energy has saved me," she smiles happily as she speaks. "Now I am as fit as a fiddle."

The positive laboratory tests, which formerly reflected the extent of her rheumatism, now show normal levels.

His life his work

Bruno Groening (1906 -1959) believed that spiritual energy had a great influence on people. He compared them to a battery; in daily life everybody expends energy and often new energy to replace what has been expended is not absorbed. In the same way that an empty battery no longer functions, a body lacking in energy can no longer perform its duties. This leads to exhaustion, nervousness and illness.

According to Bruno Groening, the wish to be well again and belief in what is good is the be-all and end-all for sick people. Man is surrounded by healing waves, which he only needs to absorb. To do this he has to sit upright on a chair; his hands, palms upwards, lie on his lap and his arms and leg are not crossed. He then has to visualise something pleasant in his mind's eye. As Groening was convinced that illness is not the will of God, the "healing stream" will gradually heal it. To this end it is necessary that the person concerned does not keep thinking about his affliction, but simply believes that for God nothing is "incurable" The healing occurs at spiritual level and consequently is not linked to Bruno Groening himself. As healings continued to occur after his death, his adherents founded the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. Its aim is to disseminate information about the healing stream and its effect free of charge.
