"Open your heart and hands"

When we fall ill, we treat only the body. But a person is not the body.  Why shouldn't a spiritual healing be possible?

"Please do not cross your arms and legs." Mrs. Kamila smiles at those gathered in the recreation room of the school in Warzawskem Grochowo. "If your spine allows it, it is better not to lean back. Please open your hands and put them on your knees. In this way you won't block the healing energy that comes directly from God."

Bruno's Friends

The audience obeyed and corrected their sitting position. They had all come because they needed help. They had heard of the Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends from acquaintances or from periodicals. "Physicians weren't able to help, bio-energetic treatments were ineffective, but maybe this will help ..." Kamila talks about the German healer Bruno Gröning, who brought about great miracles and mass healings, as if he were a neighbour. Bruno Gröning said he would go on helping man even when he was no longer in this world. "He cured me of a most severe illness. I always carry his picture next to my heart--look here! Tuning in to the divine healing power is like setting a clock." And Kamila further recommends, "Picture in your mind a big rubbish bin or sack and throw everything into it that disturbs you, including thoughts about illnesses. You have to open your heart and hands--any nit-picking will only disturb you.

There are two sources of power: God and Satan. If you believe that they are the creators of your thoughts, you are mistaken. You must foster the good, the divine, and get rid of the satanic. That is how man gets well. It is difficult, but possible."

The director of the Community also points out the following, "When your body cleanses itself strange things can happen such as painful seizures, vomiting, nausea and diarrhoea. All that is to be regarded as good," she reassures those present. "We should be happy about that.

Let's come back to the matter at hand. We will tune in to the Healing Stream, and hear excerpts from Bruno Gröning's lectures as well as Success Reports from people who have received a healing." There are around 100 people of varying ages present in the room, predominantly women.

I returned to normal life

I was at the very bottom," said Teresa Biagi. "I had stomach ulcers and a cyst on my heart. Continually sick. If I didn't have angina, then I had a cold. Nervous trembling. I took large amounts of medication. In some magazine I read about the Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends. I wrote to them about everything that was tormenting me. They answered (...) and the meeting was on the very next day. And I went. There I absorbed for ever the thought, "In a healthy body resides a healthy spirit".

Then followed the cleansing phase. For almost three weeks Teresa Biagi could only get out of bed with great effort. She vomited, and had severe diarrhoea as well as outbreaks of bad-smelling sweat. After three weeks she had a gastroscopy done and went with the findings to her physician. And he asked, surprised, "Why did you come at all? You are completely healthy, aren't you?" That evening I threw the bag with medication into the rubbish bin. "My life changed. I forgave my tormentor and realized that I should look for the problem in myself and not in others. Trust in God."

I'm seven years old

Mrs. Wieslawa Mrugula had serious problems with her spine. She could move about only with great effort. Three specialists determined separately that an operation was unavoidable, but her fear of the scalpel was too great. When she learned of spiritual healing she decided to try it. She was full of doubt. She prayed to God for guidance - if He didn't want to have anything to do with this way of healing, then she, too, didn't want it. She drove to the meeting in Legionowo, but no one could tell her where the street she was seeking was located. When she had had enough of the wandering about, a man with a bright red mane of hair came out of the Monopol store. He knew the way. No one was inside the little house at the edge of the woods At the moment when she was about to write down her telephone number and leave it, a car drove up and Mrs. Renata Dabrowska got out and asked, "How did you find your way here?" And she answered, "God led me here."

It turned out that the surgical intervention was unnecessary. While tuning in to the Healing Stream she experienced something like an operation with local anaesthesia. And she said, "I felt a cutting sensation, then felt very weakened - like during a convalescence. I was slowly freed fromk the filth. I learned to pay attention to thoughts, words and deeds, so that they are good."

Mrs. Wieslawa likes to say she is seven years old. That is the length of time since she got to know Bruno Gröning.

For intimate wrongdoers

The Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends of the German spiritual healer is no sect. Anyone can go to the Circle of Friends whether Catholic, Greek-Orthodox, Moslem, etc. God's compassion is so great that even those who reject Him can receive help.

Every Community Hour concludes with prayer for others and tuning in to the divine Healing Stream. Some people request help for their relatives, others for their friends or wrongdoers. Still others pray for sick animals or the universe.

The unusual carpenter's son

He came into the world on May 31, 1906 in Danzig-Oliva as the fourth son in the family of a poor carpenter. The six children grew up healthy in spite of their hunger. Bruno had an unusual gift. Wherever he appeared, disharmony stopped. It was also like that in the local taverns. Sick animals frequently followed him and unruly dogs became peaceful in his presence. But people, too, suffering from many illnesses felt better when the little boy came near them.

He was talented, and passed the entrance examination for business school, but his father wanted him to continue learning the carpenter's trade. The World War broke out. In 1943 Bruno Gröning was inducted into the armed forces. After a few weeks he became a prisoner of war of the Russians. People there, in particular, became aware of his ability. Prisoners that people believed were beyond help became well again.

After he returned to Germany he became well-known as a healer. In March,1949 he was invited to Herford to see the eight year old Dieter Hülsmann, who suffered from muscular atrophy. After a few days the boy who had been bedridden for months could not only stand up, but also walk. His family reported this to the newspapers. After that, masses of sick people thronged around Groening and were healed (...).
