"Spiritual healing - the key to tomorrow’s health?"

Spiritual healing? Is there such a thing? That was the view of many people not too many years ago. It appeared to be something for a few small, exclusive esoteric groups - not something for the average person. For the doctors and healing practitioners of the Medical Science Group (MWF), however, this was unacceptable. In an international lecture series held on spiritual healing by medical professionals, documented healings that have occurred through the teachings of Bruno Groening and have been verified by independent doctors are introduced. An ever-increasing attendance at these lectures suggests that people have a great need for information on alternatives to and solutions for misery, hopelessness and illness.

What is the "Medical Science Group (MWF)"?

When in 1984 the Hamburg physician Matthias Kamp heard for the first time of spiritual healing through the teachings of Bruno Groening he was initially sceptical. But then scientific curiosity drove him to examine more closely healing reports that he couldn’t explain scientifically. Soon other physicians joined him, and in 1992 Matthias Kamp founded with them the MWF. Since then it has become an active forum for more than 5,000 physicians, specialists, healing practitioners and members of other healing professions who accept the teachings of Bruno Groening.

Through publications, lectures and physicians’ congresses in large cities in over 60 countries, Matthias Kamp and the other physicians want to pave the way for spiritual healing--which still sometimes meets with misunderstanding or even rejection - just as has already been the done for some time in Great Britain and many other countries.

Rationally inexplicable

Schooled in traditional medicine, Kamp has witnessed in his years as a physician healings that could not be medically explained. Thus he reports, "Mr. R. from W. (70) was one of those people that I would have to say as a physician had no hope of being healed. For over 25 years he had suffered from a number of ailments, including continual headaches; a severe lumbar syndrome resulting from inter-vertebral disk degeneration; heart pain; angina pectoris on slight exertion; pain on breathing stemming from a crushed lung during the war; chronic gastric ulcers; and insomnia. After contact with the teachings of Bruno Groening and absorption of the divine power, he was spontaneously freed from all complaints."

Can the healings be medically verified?

The phenomenon of spiritual healing is, however, not readily accessible to today’s scientifically-oriented people since it largely eludes rational explanation and is therefore surrounded by an aura of mystery. This is where the work of the MWF begins. Through an examination of the Success Reports by medical professionals, it aims to objectively reconstruct the course of the healing. This includes a documentation that involves a check of initial findings and follow-up examinations by independent physicians. As a result, an archive has been built up in recent years providing impressive proof that organic, even degenerative illnesses are amenable to spiritual healing. In view of the plethora of verified materials it is no longer tenable to deny this or to explain away spiritual healing as the result of mere suggestion.

Modern man’s search for health

In recent years illness and the search for recovery have superseded sports and politics as topic number one in the public eye. It has long been regarded in certain circles as a continual source of sensationalism, whether in regard to new methods, wonder drugs or new therapies. But the ever-growing number of visitors to Lourdes and other pilgrimage sites that are supposed to have a divine connection is a sign of the misery in which many people find themselves today.

The specialists participating in the MWF do so on a volunteer basis. It is their wish that the greatest possible number of professional colleagues give up their reservations and convince themselves of how spiritual healing through the teachings of Bruno Groening can enrich their work, too, or even bring about their own recovery. Through their lectures they want to make available to physicians and other healing professionals worldwide their experience and knowledge of the teachings of Bruno Groening, the absorption of the divine healing power and the documented healings. Today physicians in 62 countries belong to the MWF.

Membership in the Circle of Friends is independent of membership in churches or other religious or ideological groups. At the same time, the teachings of Bruno Groening have a religious content that is also seen in all religions. The Assistant Medical Director of the Shaheed Beheshti University Medical School in Teheran, Prof. Dr. J. Nijati, said at a congress for alternative medicine in Iran, "Since I have become acquainted with the teachings of Bruno Groening I have become an even better Moslem".

Local groups where people meet together to learn more about the teachings of Bruno Groening and absorb the power together are also found in Israel. All interested persons are invited to attend, and there are no financial or legal obligations. The work of Bruno Groening is financed exclusively through voluntary donations. In accordance with the example provided by Bruno Groening himself, the Circle of Friends provides no diagnosis, therapy, examination or treatment. Medication is neither recommended, prescribed nor distributed. In the same way, no one is advised against visiting doctors, taking medication or undergoing therapies or operations. According to Groening, every healing is through the grace of God and is ultimately His decision. Therefore there is no promise of healing in the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends.
