"A different way of healing: the teachings of Bruno Groening"
Man’s soul and body cannot be separated; they are inseparable. That is why people have always devoted themselves to prayer, which can
have a positive effect on the healing process (as various scientific studies have proven). The influence of the soul and mind on the health of a
person is becoming ever more obvious as a result of the discoveries of psychosomatic medicine and a new medical sub-discipline, psychoneuroimmunology.
These relationships are all too often disregarded. Patients become discouraged by diagnoses and predictions of incurability. However,
the signs of a new epoch with a different way of thinking are suddenly becoming more and more apparent...
The opening up of the spiritual path through the teachings of Bruno Groening
Born in Gdansk in 1906, Bruno Groening exhibited unusual abilities from his early childhood on. During the war he displayed a
pacifistic spirit, later returning to Germany from imprisonment in Russia to settle with his wife in Dillenburg. There, together with other refugees,
he founded the "Organization for Displaced Persons".
In 1949 Bruno Groening became known to the public when he healed a child who had suffered from progressive muscular dystrophy and had
been given up by orthodox medicine.
Through the publication of this unbelievable healing he called people’s attention to the existence of a healing power which he called
the "Healing Stream". Thousands of people, most of them incurable, flocked to him from Germany and abroad. Countless healings as well as remote
healings occurred thanks to his lectures in Germany and Austria. The extraordinary healings represented a revolution in medicine.
Although impressed by the unmistakable and convincing results, the medical profession took a hostile attitude toward the teachings of
Bruno Groening, who refused to make a profit from his activities.
Because of his conviction that the healing came from a higher power, a prohibition to heal was imposed on his public activity.
The Teachings of Bruno Groening
The teachings of Bruno Groening assume the influence of spiritual forces on man. The influence of these forces is greater than most
people realize.
Groening compares the human being to a battery. Everyone uses up energy in his daily life. However, one is not always able to take on
sufficient new energy. Just as an empty battery won’t function, a powerless body cannot fulfil its tasks. The result is exhaustion, nervousness,
anxieties and, finally, illness.
According to the teachings of Bruno Groening, the sick person himself is regarded as responsible. He is urged to act to foster recovery
through absorbing the healing force and respecting the spiritual laws that exhort him to separate himself from negative thoughts and firmly anchor
himself to faith in the good. "Trust and believe: the divine power helps and heals", Bruno Groening appealed urgently to his audiences, saying that the
daily absorption of energy assures that health is recovered or retained.
The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends
Grete Häusler was healed from three complaints regarded as medically incurable during one of Bruno Groening’s lectures in 1950. Later,
she noticed that healings continued to occur even after Groening’s death. For this reason she established the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends, with the
goal of passing on knowledge about this healing force without cost.
In accordance with the example of Bruno Groening, the Circle of Friends provides no diagnosis, therapy, examination or treatment.
Medication is neither recommended, prescribed nor distributed. In the same way, no one is advised against doctor’s visits, taking medication or
undergoing surgery. According to Bruno Groening every healing is an act of God’s grace. Therefore no promise of healing is given in Bruno Groening
Circle of Friends.
The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends is a casual grouping of people who have recognized the value of the teachings of Bruno Groening for
themselves. At present over 60,000 people in over 1200 Communities (in local groups) the world over belong to it. Just as during Bruno Groening’s
lifetime, seekers of help can find help and healing today as well. Healings that occur are examined, documented and placed in archives by a circle of
physicians.
Documentation of the Healings
The Medical Scientific Group of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends, abbreviated as "MWF", was founded in 1992. It comprises over
6,000 physicians and members of other therapeutic professions in Germany and abroad (as of September 2002).It endeavours to reconstruct the healing
process through medical examination of the Success Reports provided.
This involves documentation through inspection of relevant preliminary findings and follow-up examinations by independent physicians.
In this way an archive has been built up in recent years which impressively proves that organic, even degenerative illnesses are absolutely accessible
to spiritual healing. In view of the abundance of the examined materials, it is no longer tenable to contest this or try to explain away spiritual
healing as the result of mere suggestion.

Margarete Mast, 63
After 20 years of severe depression and back pain resulting from a slipped disk, she regained her joy in life and the pain disappeared through the
practical application of the teachings of Bruno Groening.
Gertraud Fischer, 69
She had suffered from osteoporosis since 1994 and, except for vitamin D, was no longer able to endure treatment. From 1996 on she regularly absorbed
the healing force at the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. The pain ceased after a few months. A year later measurement of her bone density revealed
that it was absolutely normal.
All work in the Circle of Friends is voluntary. It is registered as a non-profit organization in Germany. All costs are covered by
donations. Thus, members of the Circle of Friends are totally independent.
