THIS IS THE GROWING WORKIntroduction to the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends Köfering. The Bavarian region played a special role in the life of Bruno Groening. In the autumn of 1949 up to 30,000 people streamed daily to the "Traberhof" at Rosenheim. Unbelievable healings took place. The minister-president of Bavaria supported Bruno Groening and the Ministry of the Interior for Bavaria described his work as "an act of love, given freely." Yet later he was brought before the court in Munich and prosecuted up to the end of his life. In the Circle of Friends of today, Bavaria still plays an important role. A Glance at History In retrospect: At the time it started with ten friends. Of course the first community drew members from an immense region. That meant great travelling distances to experience how spiritual healing can become possible. The friends came from Regensburg, Nuremberg, Rosenheim, Allgäu, and from the Bavarian forest region to the community hour, which took place every three weeks, in the beginning only for adults. In addition, friends from the Cologne region provided telephonic care. In 1987 the first youth community in Bavaria was founded in Augsburg. SUCCESS REPORT OF ADELHElD RUF (47), COMMUNITY WETZIKON, SWITZERLANDHealing Borderline Personality Disorder1Anxiety, depression, alcohol- and prescription medicine abuse, suicidal tendencies with several attempts at suicide, and the injuring of herself and others.
At the age of 15 I began to suffer from severe depression, so that sometimes I had to stay in bed in a darkened room for days. When I was 38 years old I contracted breast cancer. The lumps were surgically removed, followed by three months of daily radiation. I coped with this minor operation rather well physically, but during this period my depression increased. For nine months I unsuccessfully sought help from a psychologist and spent three years in a psychiatric clinic where I took various medication such as lithium, anti-psychotic drugs (Prazine, Nozinan) and benzodiazepine and antidepressants (Fluktrine, Seropram, Tolvon) also brought no success. At 16 I began to drink alcohol excessively because of severe depression. In my nineteenth year my family doctor prescribed Valium for me. When the anxiety became severe I took as much as 90 mg. During my stay at the clinic consumption of Rohypnol was added (many tablets at once). I obtained the Rohypnol on the black market. When I was 40 and had just completed nine months of unsuccessful therapy I attempted to take my own life. During my stay at the clinic, I also made several attempts at suicide. During my time as an inpatient I developed a severe tendency to endanger myself and others. I deliberately inflicted wounds on myself with knives, pointed objects or cigarettes. The smallest frustration would cause me to flip out, become aggressive and cause massive material damage, so that several times I had to be isolated and calmed down with medication. Through my behaviour I eventually lost all my friends. In the spring of 1998, while still in the clinic, I met a community leader of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. Without my knowledge this woman regularly requested of Bruno Groening my recovery, and my condition actually did improve. By July 1998 I had already recovered to such an extent that I could be released from the clinic and move into a supervised living group. After I was introduced to the teachings of Bruno Groening in September 1998 I absorbed the 'Heilstrom' (Healing sream) daily and always carried a photo of Bruno Groening with me. As time went on I felt better and better and was gradually able to stop taking all medication. The anxiety, depression, aggression and suicidal tendencies disappeared in succession. 1) Emotionally unstable personality disorder, borderline type
