SPIRITUAL HEALING - THE KEY TO TOMORROW'S MEDICINE? 

Impressions from a lecture trip 

Berlin (art). The audience listen intently to the words of the lecturer. They are told of healing from osteoporosis, various heart ailments and congenital hearing impairment and see before them people who have "made it". Healthy and happy they stand before the audience, testifying to the magnificence of spiritual healing.

A solution to lifelong pain
"My friend couldn't stand to look at me any more and therefore he left me. I had come to the point where I didn't want to live any more." These are the words of Ruth-Maria H.-F., a veterinarian from Austria. She had learned of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends at a fair in Vienna many years before as a young woman. Plagued since birth by a disfiguring neurodermatitis, she contracted in her early twenties many allergies and lost all the hair on her body. And then came the healing from this hopeless situation. Today she has thick blond hair, her skin is smooth and she is full of life. She stands thusly before the astonished audience and tells of her life. It was only after her healing that she was able to study veterinary medicine because an allergy against animal hair had previously made it impossible.

What could be more convincing than to experience the effect of the teachings of Bruno Groening on one's own body?

The goal is the same
At the lecture, which is directed to people in the healing professions as well as to seekers of help, both sides have the same goal-wellness.

The doctor often has to experience that he can provide no more than a mitigation of their ailments to the people who visit him. The seeker of help is often sent home with the diagnosis, "I can't help you. You'll just have to live with it." And here both of them learn. "There is no such thing as 'incurable.'" These are the words of Bruno Groening. He expressed himself in such a way that only few people failed to be attracted to the healing force-called the "Heilstrom", which he mediated. The truth of this statement was corroborated by descriptions of other healings that were also commented on by the physicians present at the lecture.

And the extraordinary thing is - and this was also made clear in the lecture - that the healed persons regained their health on their own, in that they tuned in to receive the above-mentioned healing force and made the teachings of Bruno Groening a part of their lives.

WHAT DID I HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN MY LIFE?

In 1961 the doctors diagnosed me with arthritis (osteochondrosis) and a damaged vertebral disk in the lumbar spine. I had severe pain every day with cramps, weakness and numbness in my legs. Later I also became incontinent (was unable to hold back my urine). I could no longer cook or wash. I managed the other housework only with the greatest effort.

Additional ailments followed
From 1975 on I suffered from high blood pressure. At times of crisis I had readings of up to 250/120 mm Hg. The side effects were especially unpleasant - headache, nausea and dizziness. My medication bag became my best friend. My day began with the counting out of tablets and drops. In 1984 and 1998 I suffered severe cardiac infarctions. After that I had an irregular heartbeat. My pulse would swing between 40 and 120 beats per minute. I could do nothing about it except endure it. An oedema developed in my legs. I had constant difficulty in breathing. Thus I could only walk 20 metres with two canes before I had to rest.

Everything changed in 1998  
In the summer of 1998 I felt especially weak and only wanted to lie in bed. My body felt as if it were clamped in a vice. I didn't expect anything good from life any more and thought of suicide. I had come to the end of my tether when I learned of the teachings of Bruno Groening.

Every day is a new gift 
On November 7, 1998 I felt the Heilstrom very strongly during the introduction. From that day on I didn't need any more medication. I received a spontaneous healing from high blood pressure. Since then my readings have been between 140 / 70 and 145 / 80 mm Hg. My headaches are also gone. My heart rhythm has normalized at 64-68 beats per minute. During the following six months the pain in my legs and the lumbar spine disappeared. My difficulty in breathing and water in the legs are a thing of the past.

Physically fit in old age 
Today I can again walk six to eight kilometres at a time. In addition, I do exercises every morning. I can also do my housework independently and without effort. I can even dance and feel younger than I did 30 years ago.

"A HOME ABROAD, TOO"

Russian Communities in Deutschland

Kassel/Berlin (ror/brs). Everything began in 1993 at the Christmas celebration in Kassel. The large number of Russian-speaking friends present led to the founding of the first community to be held in the Russian language. It is led by Ewald Siegle from Baunatal.

At first this community also had the task of supporting and coordinating the friends in Russia from Germany. At this time there were only very few Russian translations of books on Groening's teachings. Therefore for about a year every community hour was recorded, duplicated and sent to Russia for the information and support of the Russian communities.

Varied tasks 
In the beginning, the Kassel Community was rather small and consisted mainly of elderly friends. Today there are people of all ages and many friends are actively involved in the Circle of Friends. The varied tasks include translating, proofreading, help with telephone conferences and help with the coordination of the individual Russian-speaking countries. This community grew so much that it had to be divided to assure adequate attention for all of its members. All of the friends are grateful to have been able to contribute to the establishment of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends in their home town. 

Berlin - Gate to the East ...
There is also already a Russian Community in Berlin. One could naturally say, "Well, Berlin is already located quite a way to the east, just an hour away from the Polish border! But it wasn't all that simple. It was only two years ago, after successful support work for the Polish friends and the almost unbelievable establishment of 35 communities in Poland, that they had the idea of building an even larger "bridge" of cooperation, namely one from Berlin to St. Petersburg.

"We now coordinate not only St. Petersburg, but also all CIS countries. It is our intention to make help and healing possible for the people there and to pass on the many good experiences from Germany in order to support the growth of the communities in those countries," said Robert Busse, Regional Director of Berlin and coordinator for the above-mentioned countries.

They are part of the city
The over 200,000 people with Russian as their mother tongue, with their businesses, newspapers and meeting places, are now a permanent part of Berlin's cityscape. A special physicians' lecture in the spring of 2003 was intended to also provide access to the teachings Bruno Groening to these people as well. At the same time, the Russian Community in Berlin was born. This special kind of community was very well received by the Russian people, for here they have the opportunity to become acquainted with the teachings of Bruno Groening. Equally important is also the exchange of information about the various activities, as many of the friends provide intensive help in the Circle of Friends. For example, the Berliner Nelli Schick coordinates the translation of the Children's Schooling Letter into the Russian language. She helps with the preparation of trips and accompanies the German friends to Russia as an interpreter. She says, "The Russian Community means a lot to me because here I feel a profound connection to the friends in my homeland".

For the Russian-speaking friends the main point of emphasis of their work lies in the area of translation. "This is especially important for us, because there is great interest in the schooling materials and the books on the life of Bruno Groening Everything is gratefully accepted by the friends," emphasized Mrs. Schick."
