"I have the feeling I have to help with this!"
New York is regarded as the gateway to the USA. The city of eight million has a lot to offer and especially a great deal of market freedom: a market of superlatives. It is not only that the supermarkets are open 24 hours a day; there is also an absolutely immense offering in the area of alternative medicine and spiritual
healing.
A Difficult Beginning
In the mid-nineties Grete Häusler, director of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends, traveled to New York for the first time. In spite of great effort, no community endured for long there. Great patience and endurance was demanded of those concerned to repeatedly start over again as the communities disintegrated. It would take too long to describe in detail the many phases of development during those years; however, in 2001 the tide turned. After a
physicians' lecture a little community was founded that kept going and began to grow. Soon there were two communities and the first healings were
reported.
Breakthrough at a Health Fair
More than 10,000 visitors came to the Hotel New Yorker near the Empire State Building in the heart of New York City on the first weekend in March. The Circle of
Friends' booth at the city's best-known health fair was manned by Dr. Gringinger, physician and Director of the MWF in Austria, along with American friends from Buffalo and New York City. The subject
"Spiritual healing through the teachings of Bruno Groening" was received with great
openness.
A special Event
The documentary film on the life and work of Bruno Groening has been running for two years in the German-speaking countries of central Europe. The premiere for the English-speaking world took place at the end of March, 2005 in New York. The cinema in Manhattan had 200 seats. The owner and his assistant were agreed,
"Such a film belongs in New York. We want to support it". He rented out his premises for a reasonable price. Several hundred New Yorkers attended the documentary film, which moved many to tears. Some came two or three times, and some immediately understood the special greatness and import of what Bruno Groening had brought back to man through his life.
New Doors are opened
Robert Freigassner, responsible for New York: "interest in the Circle of Friends is very great here. It all began at the health fair in March, and since the documentary film opened I have noticed a special enthusiasm and devotion among many
friends - the film really moved them. Complete strangers came up to me after the showing
saying, 'I have the feeling I have to help with this. Please tell me what I can
do.' A few weeks ago 50 people came for Introduction on two
days.
One of them, Alan Steinfeld, came up to me after the film showing and said, "I have an e-mail distributor with 3,000 addresses. Please give me an information text about the film. I want to invite them
all." Five days later 50 new people came to the film as a result of the e-mail
distribution.
Muriel Stockdale Invited me to the New York Film Festival in June. I was able to speak about the film there and show the trailer. In the autumn I will be able to show the film at no cost in an ultramodern conference center. The owner wants to put his premises at our disposal. Also in the autumn I will show the film at Marymount Manhattan College. Dr. Starr, a professor at the college, asked me to do it. The room will be put at our disposal at no
cost."
Healing as a result of the film
Films with spiritual content are still a rarity in commercial cinemas worldwide. That is supposed to change, at least in the USA. The deliberate promotion of films with spiritual content is the goal of the "Spiritual Cinema Circle". The director, Steven Simon, a Hollywood veteran, obviously wants to help stop the moral and ethical decline of the film industry as
"made in Hollywood". (rof)
Robert Freigassner: "I didn't get the invitation to the New York Film Festival simply because the documentary film
"The Phenomenon Bruno Groening" is a good film on a spiritual theme. The extraordinary thing for these people was that healings obviously occur as a result of the film. In the eyes of the organizers, a healing in a theatre through watching a good film seems to be a very special seal of quality for a
film."
Robert Freigassner attended the film festival with Elisabeth McGowan. After seeing the documentary film in Manhattan in April she experienced healing from the unpleasant residual symptoms of
Lyme's disease of many years' duration, a chronic disease resulting from a tick bite. She reports,
"Despite all the therapies, for years there remained a pronounced stiffness in my neck. I could turn my head only slightly from left to right. This handicap bothered me greatly. And my doctor
couldn't give me any hope of healing, either. It went on like that for five years. At the health fair I heard of the documentary film and its showing at the film festival. The film moved me greatly, too. After I had left the theatre I was able to move my head freely for the first time again after such a long time. The chronic trouble had simply disappeared." Today Elisabeth McGowan is a community leader in New York.
A good start in San Francisco
Around 10,000 people attended the New Living Expo, one of the largest health fairs on the West Coast, on April 22, 2005. Just as in New York, Dr. F. Gringinger was able there, too, to reach his audience with his lecture
"Spiritual Healing through the Teachings of Bruno Groening " Thus, not only was a new community founded in San Francisco; communities also arose in San Jose, Berkeley and the northern Bay Area. The documentary film will get have its Bay Area premiere in the autumn in San Francisco.
Invitation to a congress in Washington
Dr. R. Roy, director of the "Campaign for Better Health", a health movement in the USA, organizes a
"Health Summit" every year in Washington, D.C. After becoming aware of the Circle of Friends he requested that one of its doctors speak on the teachings of Bruno Groening at this
year's event in the American capital. Dr. C. Dölzlmüller, director of the
physicians' community in Salzburg, accepted the invitation, and as a result of his lectures two new communities were
founded.
For 20 years, Peter Smith suffered from a disease of the central nervous system that had been declared medically incurable, "restless-leg-syndrome." The continual trembling of his legs gave him no peace and he could seldom get a full
night's sleep. Peter Smith: "I learned from Professor Roy of Dr. Dölzlmüller's lecture in Washington. During the lecture a streaming feeling spread through my whole body. Afterward the torment of the trembling and the uneasiness in my legs had simply disappeared." His wife was healed the following day from severe depression of many
years' duration. All of the melancholy had simply left her on the morning after the lecture.
In his congress, attended by several hundred participants from Washington and all over the United States, Professor Roy emphasized the special significance of the Circle of Friends and the teachings of Bruno Groening many times. He wants to support the expansion in American with everything at his

Spontaneous healing after the documentary film in New York.
"I'll never forget what happened after I had seen the film,
"The Phenomenon Bruno Groening." When I awoke the next morning I noticed that the nail fungus on my right big toe, which had plagued me for seven years, had almost completely disappeared. My doctor
hadn't been able to help me and now 75% of the fungus was gone! In the days that followed it disappeared completely. On the evening of the same day I noticed with astonishment that I
hadn't had a headache the whole day. I had suffered for five years from headaches that had gradually become more severe during the last six months and even appeared on a daily basis. The medication I took
didn't help. Since attending the documentary film I haven't had any more headaches at

The expansion of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends worldwide
Fifty-five years ago, on August 28, 1950, Grete Häusler experienced spontaneous healing from three illnesses regarded as medically incurable. The doctors treating her had been able to give her no hope of healing. She felt helpless in the face of the
infirmity - and at only 28 years of age. Suddenly, after many years of hopelessness, she was free and well as a result of a single lecture of Bruno Groening. How was that possible?
Helping out of gratitude
A feeling of great gratitude grew in her heart, together with the desire to pass this wonderful experience on for the benefit of all humanity. Her
heart's desire corresponded with Bruno Groening's major goal of putting his work at the service of all humanity. He had announced to people that God is the greatest physician and that for Him there is no such thing as
"incurable". The incomprehensible occurred - the lame stood up from their wheelchairs and the blind could see. In his teachings he left behind the knowledge of how the help and healing can also take place today. Today, his teachings are brought by his friends to all seekers of help and interested persons the world
over.
A life in the service of charity
Since then, Grete Häusler's life has been completely dedicated to this task. She began by establishing communities in her Austrian homeland under the direction of Bruno Groening. In 1957 she moved to Germany. After Bruno Groening's death in 1959 she established the communities
anew.
After modest, small beginnings with many ups and downs
today's Bruno Groening Circle of Friends has finally arisen. There are well-organized communities in all European countries and on all continents. Today it has many grateful helpers who, like Mrs. Häusler, without exception work on a volunteer basis. An astonishing variety of special work areas with qualified leaders have been built up that work together in harmony for the benefit of the
whole.
Journeying from continent to continent
On this basis Grete Häusler leads the Circle of Friends, giving advice and help everywhere at all times. At seven
o'clock in the morning she is already answering the calls of friends and her work and conversations last until late at night. A few friends help her with everyday work. She regularly visits and personally directs conferences throughout the world. Today the 83-year-old Grete Häusler handles with untiring commitment things she could not have done with her young, but shattered 28-year-old body back in the 1950s.
In the first six months of 2005 alone, in addition to seven work conferences in Germany, she also led conferences in Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Denmark, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Austria, Peru, Rumania, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the USA und Vietnam--on all the
earth's six
continents.
Sidelights of a journey
The following excerpts from a tour of almost two weeks through six
countries - from Australia to Southeast Asia - provide examples of what she goes
through.
After a journey of about 20 hours, with stopovers in Frankfurt and Bangkok, she arrives around noon local time in Jakarta, Indonesia. Problems arise for Grete Häusler at the passport control because a
"visa on arrival" cannot be issued to Austrians. She would have to fly back
immediately.
In the terminal friends are already waiting, since a full program with community hour, meetings, schoolings and a public lecture has been planned that would begin immediately after
arrival.
In this hopeless situation a request is made to a good
friend - just the thought "Please, Bruno Groening, help me!" - and something astonishing happens. After some negotiation, entry is finally permitted for one
day - "thank you!" A continuing flight had been booked anyway for the following day at 1:30 p.m. The main immigration official says goodbye to her with a friendly smile, saying that in all his years of service no foreigner had ever been allowed to enter without a visa. This is an example of the fact that not only healings, but also help of all kinds
occurs.
The program begins an hour late and continues until late at night. The friends have many questions. As coordinator of the friends in Indonesia, Ietje Pichel from the Netherlands is also present. Born in Indonesia, she has returned to her former home to help the friends prepare everything and continue to support further
expansion.
And the journey continues
The next morning there is a work meeting and punctually before the flight at 1:30 a cordial departure at the airport. From the heat of the equatorial zone she continues the journey through the night on narrow tourist class seats into the late autumn of Sydney, Australia. After an early morning arrival at 6:30 a.m. there are the usual customs and passport inspections. Specially trained dogs sniff all of the bags to check for sandwiches or other foodstuffs, which
aren't allowed to be brought in. Everything goes well. A loving reception is awaiting her in the terminal. At the conference site the sound and projection apparatus has to be set up and there will be meetings prior to the opening of the
conference.
At 10:20 the next evening the plane with Grete Häusler on board climbs over the nocturnal silhouette of Sydney so that she will be able to greet the friends in Bangkok the next
morning.
And so it continues, from country to country. In this way many communities and friends in this part of the world can be reached and introduced to their tasks in the shortest possible time. The personal contacts are complemented by ever more efficient communication technologies, with the result that the worldwide expansion continually
improves.
Once a year in May the most important helpers from the world over are invited to Germany for a schooling week. This year friends from 32 countries from all continents will
participate.
The teachings of Bruno Groening are intended for all people of all nationalities and all religions, just as Bruno Groening explained over 50 years ago. Now it is a reality. For example in Koforidua, Ghana a black friend, full of gratitude and joy over his healing and the great change in his life said,
"Thank you, Allah, and thank you, Bruno Groening!"
He had understood in his heart that it doesn't matter what name the Father in heaven is given; what counts is that He lives in
one's heart.
Back to the divine order
The personal, friendly contact with friends from so many different cultures, societies and religions engenders a completely new way of looking at the causes of the distress and troubles of people everywhere. The world is so rich, yet so many people live in utter misery. Sometimes only a single step back to the divine order is needed for astonishing help and healing to take
place.
The teachings of Bruno Groening contain exactly what people everywhere need in order to overcome their misery. What a profound joy it is to look into their eyes, shining with gratitude for being able to find this great help for their life. Therefore, no trip is too long, no vehicle too uncomfortable or insecure. Nor do time zones or jet lag present a hindrance. As Bruno Groening said,
"It can't be stopped. Healing will come to pass all over the world!" (maf)

Remote help in the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends
Healing cardiac insufficiency: Alexander Bauer, 48, Munich
From the beginning of 2002 on, my health declined steadily. After a few
hours' work I had to lie down. In the evening I was completely exhausted. My performance decreased more and more. The fatigue and weakness grew worse and worse. When it
didn't change even after an extended vacation, I went to the doctor. In May, 2002 I was declared unfit for
work.
Diagnosis: cardiac insufficiency
My subjective complaints consisted mainly of a feeling of pressure on the left side of my chest, fatigue, tiredness and shortness of breath with the slightest effort. With an ECG my family doctor found changes and my cardiologist explained to me after an examination that my cardiac performance had clearly decreased. He diagnosed of cardiac insufficiency, possibly as a result of a cardiac infarction that I
hadn't noticed. I was given a heart-strengthening medication, (Ramipril) however, it provided no perceptible relief from the
complaint.
Strangers plead for me
On Monday, September 16, 2002 I felt unusually bad. The next morning I got up and felt surprisingly well. During the morning I began to take care of some paperwork and was quite amazed when I felt capable of working the whole day long and was able to take care of things that had piled up for months. To my great astonishment I was able to climb stairs again without shortness of breath or a feeling of tightness in my chest and was more capable of physical
exertion.
On Thursday evening I called a friend in Paffenhofen. After I had told her how well I felt she told me of Bruno Groening and that friends had specially tuned in
(Einstellen) for me the previous Monday (!) in the community hour of the Circle of
Friends.
Back to my professional life full of energy
The time connection between the Einstellen* and the condition of my health on the following day was very impressive to me. I was introduced to the teachings of Bruno Groening on the following Wednesday, September 25, 2002. Since that time I have been attending the community hours and conferences and do einstellen* regularly to the
Heilstrom*. Since my healing I feel well and strong again. All of my complaints belong to the past. I have started working again. Today I carry out a number of volunteer tasks for the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends and am amazed at all that I am able to
accomplish.
Through an echocardiography carried out by a specialist it was determined on January 29, 2003 that my cardiac performance was completely normal. The specialist
wasn't able to establish a connection between the complete disappearance of the complaints from one day to the next and the therapy that I had undergone. She had no explanation for it.
Medical commentary:
The cardiac echocardiogram (ultrasonic examination) of June 2002 indicated a definite lessening of the cardiac ejection performance (ejection fraction) to 40% (normal is greater than 50%) for Mr. Bauer. The doctors attributed the cardiac muscle weakness to a cardiac infarction that had not been noticed by Mr. Bauer. The spontaneous disappearance of the symptoms of the illness from one day to the next is, for me, inexplicable from a medical point of view and can only be explained through the absorption of the
Heilstrom*. The fact that this healing occurred without his knowledge makes this report especially valuable. The recovery of his performance capability is documented in the echocardiograph of January, 2003. It shows a normal ejection performance once
again.

Katharina K.,76, Germany (for her sister, 86)
After many years of diabetes, my older sister (86) had to have her right leg amputated because of an open sore that
wouldn't heal (open leg). Then after a year a sore opened up on her left foot as well. It
didn't want to heal up and very severe pain developed. The administration of morphine held off amputation for the time being. After my Introduction in November 1998 I did einstellen for my sister without her knowledge. A short time later the sore healed. That was more than three years
ago.

My 14-year-old son Juan Sebastian suffered from asthma for at least eight years. The attacks occurred about every two or three months. We visited many different doctors such as, for example, allergy specialists, general practitioners and pediatricians. A number of tests were made, such as blood allergy tests. He always slept with an inhalator under his pillow and took medication. When an attack occurred I almost always took him to the hospital because the inhalator only helped minimally. We were really regular guests there. In addition, he
couldn't do any
sports.
In 1999 I took part in the fourth TAKE (Esperanto Congress for all the Americas) There I accidentally came across a lecture on spiritual healing through the teachings of Bruno Groening. After the medical student, K.B., had introduced documented healings I conquered my skepticism and said to myself,
"What can I lose if I try it? At the end of the lecture there was an opportunity to do einstellen for other people. I did it for my son Juan Sebastian.
From that point in time until today my son has never again had an asthma attack. He no longer needs medication, no longer has to go to hospital, sleeps without an inhalator, can do sports and loves to roller-skate at the sport
club.
Remote help
Remote help is recorded in special reports within the overall scope of the success report work. A healing occurs through the
Einstellen* of a believing friend who makes the request. It is not a matter of autosuggestion or of any other kind of influence on the healed
person. In his book "The Great Turn-around" (Seebruck/Chiemsee,1950), Dr. Trampler
says: "When Groening
- as was always the case with the great healings - told the audience they could also receive healing for their sick relatives not actually present, Mrs. St. concentrated urgently on her husband, who had remained at home with severe sciatica. At exactly the same time her husband (about 50 miles away) began to feel a different kind of pain and a kind of
'rumbling' in his body that soon went away. The sciatica had

After I experienced massive weight loss (22 pounds in three months) they found a malignant tumor in my stomach. The diagnosis was a highly malignant non-Hodgkin-lymphoma, primary location in the stomach. Against the advice of the doctors I refused an operation and chemotherapy and left the hospital to die at home. After a few days at home I noticed with astonishment that I my appetite came back. My appetite gradually improved and in December I was able to eat everything again and had reached my old weight once again. All the exhaustion and weakness had
disappeared.
Shortly after Christmas a neighbor told me she had done einstellen* for me. On January, 1992 I was introduced into the teachings of Bruno Groening and now do einstellen* to receive the
Heilstrom* by myself. No further complaints have arisen. At a follow-up examination my internist was not able to find any indication of a malignant
tumor.

My little niece (six and a half years old) had suffered from asthma since she was two. Every two or three weeks she had to be taken to hospital in an emergency. The Traberhof attracts attention worldwide
Bruno Groening's activity, 1949: the Traberhof in Rosenheim, Part 1
After completing the Heidelberg tests Bruno Groening turned to southern Germany in August, 1949. He wanted to get away from the fuss that was being made over him. The owner of a stud farm near Rosenheim invited him to his
"Traberhof". There Bruno Groening wanted to take his time in considering the offers for establishment of healing
centers.
At first he was able to keep his stay there secret. The Traberhof was wonderfully peaceful. But soon there were rumors. It was said that Groening was in Bavaria. Journalists started searching around. Rewards were offered. Who will be the first to find Groening? Who will have the first interview with
him?
Groening in Bavaria
 It
wasn't long before they had located him. The newspapers reported that Groening had arrived in Bavaria. They wrote,
"Groening in Rosenheim," "Groening at the Traberhof". The seekers of healing immediately started streaming there. But this time there was no stopping them. All the dams broke. A veritable mass assault took place. Where in Herford there had been 5,000 to 7,000 people, there were now tens of thousands. On some days well over 30,000 people waited for Bruno Groening
- wanting to see him, wanting to be healed by him. The newspapers did their reporting and radio and the weekly newsreel, too, sent their
crews.
Even a film was produced, a film documenting the extraordinary happenings concerning the man from Gdansk. It actually appeared in the cinemas a few weeks
later.
Unbelievable scenes
Dramatic scenes occurred and the unbelievable happened. One of the many newspapers reporting from the Traberhof was the
"Zeitungsblitz".
It wrote in September, 1949:
"Meanwhile, over 10,000 people had gathered and all of them waited for hours in the scorching heat for the great moment when Groening would step onto the balcony, speak to the crowd and radiate his healing force. The people stood closely pressed together in order to be able to obtain the full benefit of his
"healing radiation". Reactions started occurring right away from the most severely ill in their wheelchairs and chairs as well as from individuals standing on the
periphery. Again the blind began to see. Again people who had up to then been lame got up, and the paralyzed moved their stiff limbs. Hundreds told of increased pain in the diseased areas, of tugging, pricking and tingling sensations and of an indescribable feeling
"lightness" or of headaches that had suddenly
disappeared.
An army of the wretched
A journalist who had spent several days at the Traberhof described the picture he saw from the
balcony:
 "When I look down from the balcony and allow my glance to survey the crowd, it is as if I see spread out before me a true mirror image of all the clinics in Germany and all the medical encyclopedias with their representations of all kinds and stages of illnesses. The blind, the lame, the deaf; people completely and only partially paralyzed; amputees; people with tuberculosis and cancer; epileptics; infants and children; young women and others nearing the end of their lives, trembling old men and wizened old
women."
Another journalist later even wrote an entire book on the happenings at the Traberhof. He called it
"The Great Turn-around". He, too, described the army of the wretched who pushed their way toward Bruno Groening at the Traberhof: "All the incurable diseases and wounds, the emotional
 devastation and existential anxiety that had shyly stayed hidden from indifferent curiosity in their houses here became relentlessly and inescapably visible. Women and children with pale, emaciated faces. Burning with anguish, their eyes had forgotten how to shed tears. There were amputees and paralyzed people no longer able to move, people shaken by terrible seizures - foaming at the mouth and with contorted faces - and others unable to stop weeping convulsively. In this way they came together. In this way they were carried here by the thousands-thousands upon thousands, without end.
Whatever had remained in them of the energy necessary to live and work - of any happiness and confidence - had been trampled on and left behind the barbed-wire of the prisoner-of-war camps, buried under the ruins of destroyed homes or left behind in their lost
homeland. During these days and weeks I haven't encountered anyone who
wasn't deeply moved and shaken by the extraordinary amount of suffering and misery, which was more terrible than anyone could ever imagine. One thing would be clear to anyone able to see the immense number of petitions in which all those unable to make the journey to Groening for reasons of health or lack of money poured their hearts out: that the people packed together there waiting so long for their last hope represented an endless mass of the sick, disabled and
desperate".
God's work
It was a real army of the wretched that pushed its way to Bruno Groening here
- thousands of people whom no one could help any more, who could find no way out of their distress, out of their misery. And then something happened that actually
couldn't happen, that wasn't supposed to happen - at least not according to modern scientific knowledge and not according to the
world's intellectual leaders. But Bruno Groening was no world intellectual leader and he also
didn't speak of science. Bruno Groening spoke of God and God acted. God revealed Himself in the happenings at the Traberhof in all of His splendor and magnificence, in all His omnipotence and in all His strength and goodness. Countless healings occurred. Even when Bruno Groening
wasn't there, the sick became well. As one observer
wrote: "It was during these days and nights prior to the great healings of September 9th
- Bruno Groening himself was traveling at this time in northern Germany - that the first remote healing occurred. Under the overwhelming impression of such occurrences a change gradually took place among the many sick people. A power had been at work before their very eyes for which there was no human explanation, and this power had provided help where humans were no longer able to
help."
When Bruno Groening then stepped onto the balcony of the Traberhof and spoke to the sick people, things were seen among the thousands of seekers of healing that cannot be
explained.
"Sick people got up from their stretchers, the paralyzed threw away their crutches and were able to walk, and a blind child was able to see. Cries of gratitude bore witness to more and more healings, only a certain number of which were outwardly visible. Even two months later, and indeed much longer, healings that had taken place or begun during these days continue to be made
known. One of our best doctors witnessed this activity from the Traberhof terrace. Profoundly shaken, he admitted that as a result of this hour he had accepted into his life the belief that man is nothing without the grace of God and that no knowledge and no ability can heal people unless this grace is humbly
acknowledged". (the)
