Establishment of Communities in North America
The first phase of the establishment of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends
in North America ended in November, 2005. The first series of lectures began
in the autumn of 2001, not long after the fall of the twin towers, and the
most recent series was held in the autumn of 2005, with 45 lectures in all
parts of that large continent.
Lectures were held in Canada and the USA by doctors from Germany and Austria,
a New York friend, a German healing practitioner, a Swiss therapist and
community leaders from Austria and Germany The Canadian lectures took place
in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia, while those in the
USA were held in New York, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida,
Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana und
Missouri.
Great interest
Horst Eichholzer, community leader in London, Ontario
 who
helped to prepare for the lecture in his city, said, "I was very moved and
surprised by the great interest shown. We distributed leaflets in the area
and the German friends helped us with the press work. There weren't enough
seats in the hall and part of the audience had to stand. It's hard to
describe the atmosphere there. I had the impression that the audiences paid
close attention to the lectures by the German doctors on the teachings of
Bruno Groening." The result was that after being in existence only a few
months, the London community had to be divided.
To pass on experiences
Experienced community leaders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have
proved to be of great help to the Americans and Canadians in setting up
their communities. Dirk Siems, a community leader from Kiel, for example,
flew to Canada to help with the lectures.
Dirk Siems: "It is very important to me to help with the expansion abroad as
I'm doing here in Canada. It really affects me when I experience people's
gratitude after the lectures. Some of them have to cry and others lose their
pain. Still others are taken aback, saying, "Why didn't I hear of Bruno
Groening before? I myself have experienced great healings and have seen for
myself what a blessing these teachings are. It is something special to be
able to help people in all countries get rid of their misery and suffering
by such simple means."
Mutual press and publicity work
 Since
2001 around 120 lectures have been held in North America, mostly by doctors.
These figures don't indicate, however, the months of work - often late into
the night - performed by more than 100 European and North American helpers.
Tens of thousands of leaflets had to be printed and sent out. Hundreds of
newspapers and magazines were contacted, and several thousand American
doctors received personal invitations. And then lecture halls had to be
found, often only through Internet searches in Europe.
Yet the work continues on after the lectures. Dirk Siems: "It isn't only a
matter of informing people. Passing on the teachings of Bruno Groening
involves a special responsibility. When the people give their addresses and
ask after the lectures to learn more about the teachings of Bruno Groening,
you can't just let them go on their own. They need experienced people to
accompany them through the application of the teachings. These people can
accompany them through the healing process.
After the lecture the establishment begins
That's why Bruno Groening established communities during his lifetime. In
them the friends can meet every three weeks to absorb the Heilstrom*
together. They learn more about the teachings of Bruno Groening and learn to
take on the power of belief. For this the experiences and healings of others
are very important. Dirk Siems: It is always a special task after a lecture
to find the right community leader because the people in other countries
should become independent, have their own experiences and expand the Circle
of Friends from within their own country. In this way I can back up the
leader of the Ontario communities from Germany."
Americans and Canadians in more than 100 cities in North America have agreed
to lead the newly-established communities. Thus, at the end of 2005, the
Circle of Friends rested on five pillars: the New York Region, from the East
Coast to Washington and Chicago; the Florida Region, encompassing the states
of North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia und Florida; the Tucson Region, which
includes Texas, Arizona, Utah und Colorado; the San Francisco Region,
covering the entire West Coast of the USA and including the states of
California, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Washington und Montana; and the
Canadian Region, covering the entire country from Vancouver to Quebec.
Love life - God.
God is everywhere.

At present the Circle of Friends has several thousand members in North
America. It is very heartening that more and more North Americans are
enthusiastically supporting the expansion of the Circle of Friends in their
homeland. With the hectic pace of life in the "land of unlimited opportunity", they have recognized the great value of the simple teachings of Bruno
Groening. They gratefully absorb the Heilstrom* in their communities, and
their experiences and healings constitute the best testimony for their
fellow citizens. (mak)
My search for the elixir of life
Liz Sterling from Boca Raton in Florida has been involved in the
North American spiritual scene for decades. She heads her own center,
which offers various ways of healing, including Yoga and Reiki. She
worked with a Russian healer for a long time and has organized many
events with personalities from the "spiritual scene" in North
America. In addition, she has had many years of experience with a
radio show of her own and editorial work with newspapers and
magazines.
At a lecture by a German doctor in 2002 she learned of the teachings
of Bruno Groening.
Liz Sterling: "I received an unusual telephone call from Germany
about the lecture of a German doctor on spiritual healing. While it
did interest me, I knew nothing at all about Bruno Groening. Then it
occurred to me that it would be a good subject for my next radio
show.
 So
I spontaneously invited him. In this regard I should say that I know
all the important personalities from the health and esoteric fairs
in North America. I could recite a long list of spiritual movements
and therapeutic trends I have become familiar with over the decades.
It was my business, but I was also personally searching for a higher
truth. I didn't find it anywhere. There were a lot of interesting
things, yet my heart missed a certain greatness and a connection,
something that can't be put into words - let us simply say that I was
searching for the "elixir of life". The radio
interview with the German doctor and his wife affected me greatly. I
sensed that the two of them had really experienced something special
through the teachings of Bruno Groening. It literally radiated from
them. After that I also tuned in regularly to the Heilstrom* as
recommended in the teachings of Bruno Groening. The result: my
marriage has improved, my children hug me again and my mother, whose
left leg was paralyzed for many years from multiple sclerosis, can
lift it again. In addition, many nice things have happened to her
since she has been tuning in to the Heilstrom*. Today I feel a peace
and calm previously unknown to me. I have recognized the greatness
of these teachings and therefore gladly help, despite my heavy
schedule. Thus I direct the press work for all of North America and
have gladly used my professional knowledge in the preparations for
the lectures. Now I am also taking over the leadership of the Inner
Circle for Florida. The communities here have received a lot of help
with their establishment from Germany, but the time has come for we
Americans to help one another with the further expansion. A deep and
genuine friendship has arisen with all the German helpers, who have
been selflessly lending us their support now for years. Through the
teachings of Bruno Groening I experience a bond with God previously
unknown to me. In the Heilstrom* I have found my long-sought "elixir
of life". |
Healing for addicts too?
A mentor for "those most in need of help" reports, "My
profession has to do with looking after people dependent on alcohol. I am
familiar with their misery and also with the high relapse rate. Addictive
diseases constitute a worldwide epidemic that is continually spreading.
The misery for the individual and his whole milieu is dreadful. It is
actually as if the addict is in the grasp of a power that won't release
him from its claws until he dies miserably.
Bruno Groening always wanted to first help the
people in the greatest misery. He said, 'There is no such thing as
'incurable' - God is the greatest physician'. For me the addictive diseases
are among the worst diseases. Therefore healing in this area has an
especially great significance. Here in the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends
I have witnessed impressive healings, even from severe chronic illnesses.
Even emotional diseases give way to this energy, which Bruno Groening
called the 'divine energy' or the 'Heilstrom*'".

"In the summer of 1988 I smoked hashish - I had just
turned 18 - for the first time. After that I tried speed, then it was
cocaine. I found the feeling I got from it 'cool' and after a few weeks I
was consuming almost two grams a day. With my friend, a dealer, there was
only quarreling and beatings. I felt lonely, fell into self-pity and took
cocaine almost around the clock.
After my introduction to the teachings of Bruno Groening
in March, 1989 I spontaneously stopped taking cocaine - and without any
withdrawal symptoms. I took the teachings seriously, tuned in to
absorption of the Heilstrom* several times daily and attended the
community hours.
Two months later I separated from the friend I was with
at the time. After that I led a drug-free life for five years. During this
time I went on regularly absorbing the healing energy.
In 1994 I came in contact with the drug speed through a
man dependent on drugs. I stopped going to the community hours. By the end
of 1995 I was taking half a gram of speed every few weeks, sometimes even
more.
After I left this friend in 1997 I tuned in again to
absorption of the Heilstrom* and was able to stop taking drugs again.
Since then I haven't taken any more drugs at all. My old "friends" are now
all dependent on heroin. I now have a nine-year-old son and lead a good
family life. |
The path to freedom
After awhile I realized that the teachings of Bruno
Groening are a path to freedom for the so-called 'incurably addicted' people, too. It began with visits to the
'scene'.
 We
founded extra communities in which people dependent on drugs came together
to learn of the teachings of Bruno Groening. Before every community hour we
went into the 'scene' and distributed flyers. Some came along and
experienced impressive healings. I know people who, totally dissolute, had
come to a lecture on the teachings of Bruno Groening just a few weeks
previously only to stand before me later happy, beaming, clean and free.
A glimpse behind the facade
During this time of expansion I met a lot of people who
hid themselves behind a facade of vulgar remarks and filthy, stinking
clothing. I found many to be quite sensible and receptive to the
spiritual, yet they had looked in the wrong direction. I can't tell you
how much these people mean to me. Together with another woman I want to do
everything necessary to bring them help."
In time it turned out that it is better to integrate
these people into the 'normal' adult communities, where they are supported
by the other people.
To break the power of drugs
She continues: "The help we want to give these people
isn't alms, cake or hot tea. We also won't take them by the hand and bring
them to "fulfill their social obligations". That isn't our task. We want
to help them gain access to the divine energy, accept the teachings of
Bruno Groening and to follow them. Like all the other seekers of healing,
they, too, can learn to stop the addiction. They, too, can ask God for
help and have the possibility to change their behavior and way of thinking.
I often witness spontaneous healings. The addiction
simply disappears, even without withdrawal symptoms. It is as if it were
taken away from them. The power of drugs over them is broken through
absorption of the Heilstrom*. The profound shock of these people after
such a healing makes a lasting impression. Many have felt happiness,
heartfelt joy and a long-sought peace for the first time in their lives."
Günter Frings, 41, Cologne, Germany
At 15 I started drinking alcohol through friends. I
often drank beer. At 20 I got completely drunk at least once a week.
During my military service I consumed up to 20 bottles
of beer daily. I was never without alcohol for more than three days. When
I met my wife in 1989 I reduced my consumption, but realized that I had
become dependent on it.
I had to drink six to eight bottles of beer four times
a week, otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep, my whole body would itch
and I'd feel totally whacked the next day - and then I would drink twice as
much the following evening. If there was a case of beer at home I would
drink it up in two days. Finally I made a deal with the addiction: two
days a week I would drink just enough beer to be able to go to sleep and
would postpone the total inebriation until the weekend. In the end I
became depressed. My hands trembled, which in my occupation as an
electrician had an especially negative effect.
After my introduction to the teachings of Bruno Groening
in February, 1995 nothing changed at first. In September, 1995 I was
suddenly able to give up drinking and am free from the addiction. When I
once ate some liqueur ice cream without thinking it didn't cause a relapse.
I had no withdrawal symptoms and have now been free for over seven years.
I can go to sleep and sleep the whole night without alcohol, and can take
in everything with a clear head. My hands no longer tremble, even in
difficult situations. |
The work is being expanded internationally
Extraordinary healing of people with addictive diseases
is being reported more and more frequently in the Bruno Groening Circle of
Friends. For this reason educational work is necessary. There is
information for people with addictive diseases under www.bruno-groening.org
on the Internet. Healing reports can be read concerning alcohol, drug and
medication dependence, and a separate flyer can be downloaded and printed
out.
In the German-speaking area regional coordinators and
their helpers support the communities locally. The flyer has now been
translated into 19 languages and in 16 countries there are already mentors

Ursula K., 49, Austria
At the age of 22 the depression came for the first
time. After that it happened countless times, and I had cosmetic surgery.
Later a "borderline personality disorder" was diagnosed, along with
anxiety states, sleep disturbances, constipation, heartburn, excessive
sensitivity to cold, eczema on my fingers and hormone disturbances. For
more than 20 years I suffered from severe pain in my entire body (fibromyalgia).
Housework and garden work were torture for me. During this time I
regularly took medication in increasingly large doses, which led to a
heavy dependence: benzodiazepine such as Lexotanil, Rohypnol, Temesta, and
a strong painkiller (Tramal). Years of therapy, as well
as weeks-long stays in hospitals, brought no success. I was so desperate
that I tried to end my life several times, once with an overdose of 450
pills. I was twice put in the locked ward of a mental hospital. I was
given early retirement because of my inability to work.
In the summer of 2000 I learned of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. I
regularly absorbed the healing energy according to the teachings of Bruno
Groening. In February, 2002 the healing process began and took a week.
Since that time I have been free of all ailments and no longer require any
medication at all. I can handle all my house and garden work again full of
energy and feel great joy and a wonderful feeling of life in me. |

The expanding work -
Croatia and its neighboring countries, Part 6.1
Many interested people and seekers of help attended two
lectures with an introduction to the teachings of Bruno Groening in Zagreb
on July 16-17, 1993. Grete Häusler, Director of the Bruno Groening Circle
of Friends, held the lectures personally. Two friends traveled to Zagreb a
week ahead of time to distribute flyers and posters and arrange for
announcements in the media. In this way numerous new friends were won who
had to be coordinated, which of course was no easy task. After all, the
people who had done the pioneer work there live in Germany, 7o miles away.
In the following month several additional lectures were organized from
Germany to be carried out in Croatia. Each time, the lecturers had to
travel almost 1,500 miles back and forth. That was doomed to failure in
the long run because the new friends didn't have the opportunity to meet
regularly every three weeks in community hours to absorb the Heilstrom*
and hear the teachings of Bruno Groening.
Communities in faraway Germany
 When
he was a child of five, Damir Kovacevic's parents took him with them to
Germany, which became his second homeland. When he was 24 he came into
contact with the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends through his brother. Even
though he was physically well he was able to accept these teachings. He
realized that it wasn't only a matter here of the healing of illnesses,
but that only through the absorption of the divine energy is a person in a
position to master his life in all its aspects and to remain healthy all
his life as well.
After this realization he was able to finish his study
of business management, which he had all but given up, and find work. Out
of a resigned young man continually preoccupied with environmental
protection and the end of the world and who did nothing but brood on how
the planet earth and all nature was being destroyed by a highly-civilized
technological society, there developed a happy and life-affirming person
able to look forward to the future.
In 1992 he and his brother Ivan began to hold community
hours for their countrymen. All the nationalities of the former Yugoslavia
peacefully came together for community hours regularly held in three
cities, Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Stuttgart. Since there was a war in their
homeland at the time, it was a sensation.
Return to the homeland
At the end of 1994, at the age of 29, he was able to
fulfill his greatest wish. He left his security in Germany, returned to
his Croatian homeland with Adrian Dujmovic and started his own business in
Zagreb. At the time a war was in progress there. The hatred among the
three great peoples of the former Yugoslavia - the Serbs, Croats and the
people of Herzegovina - had reached its zenith.
In addition to his greatest wish he had another great
desire, namely to bring together all the peoples of the former Yugoslavia.
The expansion begins
The home-comer began at once to hold community hours
and introductory lectures. The friends could now be properly mentored, and
their number in the Zagreb community grew.
 Around
a year later the Belisce community was added in the little town in eastern
Croatia. There the effects of war were much more visible than in Zagreb,
which had been largely spared, and the teachings penetrated much more
deeply into the hearts of the people. Thus, much healing and help took
place there. When Adrian Dujmovic then returned to his home town of Split
he didn't know how he would go about establishing a community there. Then
a friend from Zagreb helped him encourage relatives and acquaintances to
come to a first introductory lecture in 1998 and the first community in
Split was established.
The goal: communities throughout Croatia
An additional goal was to also found communities in all
the large cities in the country. At the first Physicians' Lecture in
Zagreb on March 26, 2000, held by a German doctor and his Austrian and
Croatian colleagues, an audience of several hundred turned up.
As a result of such physicians' lectures, communities
gradually arose in Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Sibenik, Dubrovnik und Osijek.
There are now around 50 communities in Croatia.
Slovenia
The expansion work in Slovenia, which was spared by the
war, had an early start in October, 1998. Two young Slovenes took on this
task after having received healing themselves. Today over 20 communities
have arisen in Slovenia and countless cases of help and healing have
occurred, including a major healing from the consequences of LSD
consumption.
Macedon
An employee of the German national radio in Cologne,
herself Macedonian, arranged a newspaper interview with the most popular
daily newspaper in Skopje that she carried out together with a Croatian
doctor from Zagreb. The same doctor then also held the lecture in Skopje.
As a result of the large turnout two communities were immediately
established.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
 The
friends from Split felt responsible for the expansion work in Bosnia und
Herzegovina, which were hit hard by the war. The capital city of Sarajevo
was subjected to years of the fiercest battles. The inhabitants had to
endure terrible things and were emotionally, physically and materially at
an end.
This was also clearly visible in April, 2000 during the physicians' lecture tour, which went from Herzegovina's capital of Mostar through
Sarajevo to the small city of Zivinice in northern Bosnia. The audience
absorbed the cost-free teachings of Bruno Groening like a sponge and their
eyes began to shine again.
The newly established communities in Mostar and Sarajevo were led every
three weeks for an entire year by a friend from Split. Finally a local
community leader was found who gratefully took over the voluntary task.
Serbia and Montenegro
The high point of the expansion of the Bruno Groening
Circle of Friends in the countries of the former Yugoslavia was without
doubt the breakthrough to Serbia and Belgrade, the one-time capital of the
multinational state. The former Yugoslavia was centrally governed from
Belgrade, the main headquarters of the Peoples' Army, which secured the
existence of the multinational People's Republic.
As a result of the "Perestroika" movement, Yugoslavia
began to totter. The peoples with the strongest economies wanted their
independence. The result was a horrible war among the Serbs, Croats and
Bosnians.
People who had lived peacefully together a short time
before began to hate one another. One of the tasks of the people in the
communities is to help get rid of the hatred that remained even after the
end of the war in 1995.
Breaking the ice
The first contacts were made with Serbia in the spring
of 2001. On their first journey, the Croatian friends, along with a
Slovenian friend, were twice denied entry at the Serbian border and they
were only allowed in on their third try after their informational material
had been confiscated. The friends were cordially welcomed in Becej, but
due to their lateness the introduction had to be postponed until their
next visit. But the ice had been broken, and further visits in the years
thereafter quickly brought communities to Kragujevac, Novi Sad and
Belgrade.
In the spring of 2004 three physicians' lectures were
held in Serbia and Montenegro by a Macedonian doctor from the Medical
Scientific Group. The Belgrade and Kragujevac communities were
strengthened, and a new community was founded in Novi Sad, a city near the
Croatian border.
Freed from hatred
An almost unbelievable story unfolded in early 2002
when a Serbian woman from Kragujevac learned of the teachings of Bruno
Groening from her sister, a friend in Sarajevo. She immediately went to
Sarajevo, where she attended an introduction and also received healing. It
was her wish that a community could also be founded in her home town.
After she met Mrs. Häusler at a conference in Zagreb in January, 2003 her
wish was granted.
An Information lecture was scheduled for Kragujevac on
the next tour through Serbia. Croatian friends who had mentored from
Germany from the very first visited the Serbian friends in April, 2003 to
hold an initial information lecture in Kragujevac. Also present were
friends from Sarajevo, including a Bosnian woman of Croatian nationality
who had sworn to never again set foot on Serbian soil. Yet she simply got
the desire to go along. At the end of the introduction she was able to
openly tell the Serbian friends of her great healing from hatred toward
their people. Among the 50 people present - also including men - there was
hardly anyone who, profoundly moved, didn't openly weep.
Establishment of the MWF in the former Yugoslavia
The MWF can already look back on a successful expansion
effort in this part of Europe.
In 1999 a pediatrician from Split attended a physicians' lecture in her home city. Recognizing at once the great value these
teachings would have as a complement to her traditional medical knowledge,
she immediately began to help with the success report work.
Dragica Kragic, a healing practitioner, helped her with
the verification and documentation of the healings, first in Split, then
in Zagreb and finally for all of the former Yugoslavia. Most impressive
was Vera Beritic's healing from Sudeck's atrophy, a medically incurable
disease that causes the disintegration of muscles and bones. Accompanied
by a continual, almost unbearable pain, it leads in most cases to
disability.
Additional doctors and others in therapeutic
professions who recognized the value of the teachings of Bruno Groening
kept coming, and since 2000 the doctors have been holding their own
lectures. In 2001 the two physicians' communities in Zagreb and Split were
founded, and since May, 2002 MWF conferences have been held twice a year.
Regional schoolings in success report work are regularly held as well.
Contact with the "mother country" of the teachings of
Bruno Groening
An important reason for the secure foundation and the
continuing expansion of the Circle of Friends in this part of Europe is
the regular contact with Germany, the "mother country" of the teachings of
Bruno Groening.
Since 1977 they have been holding annual Spring and
Autumn conferences in Zagreb attended by helpers and mentors from Germany.
The spring conference is traditionally held by Grete Häusler, who inspires
the friends to further expansion by telling of her personal experiences
with Bruno Groening. Since 2001 a community leaders' conference has been
held beforehand in which the community leaders and helpers become
motivated to make Bruno Groening's words, "I have come for all people" come true.
Hiking- and sailing weeks
 Since
the year 2000 annual mountain climbing weeks have been held that are
attended by Bruno Groening Friends from all of the former Yugoslavia, as
well as from Germany and Austria, who want to experience nature together.
In 2005 the friends in Bosnia-Herzegovina also organized their first
mountain week. Every summer since 2001 the friends have also experienced
magnificent sailing weeks on the Adriatic Sea. During the past winter a
ski weekend took place for the fourth time in Maribor, Slovenia that
attracted over 50 participants, some of them from Austria and Croatia.
The Bruno Groening documentary film has its premiere in
Croatia
The premiere on October 27, 2005 of the documentary
film about Bruno Groening in the two large cities of Zagreb and Split was
doubtlessly a milestone. After 18 months of translation, editing and
dubbing the Croatian friends could finally experience the whole truth
about Bruno Groening in wonderfully-produced documentary form.
Meanwhile almost all the friends there have seen it and
taken it to heart to such an extent that they are doing intensive press
and publicity work to familiarize the public with the selfless deeds of
this simple man. (dak)
Success Report of Erika Kästner, 53, Pirmasens
Community, Germany
 In
the year 1992 my left eyelid began to sag and I saw everything
double. Two weeks later my right eye was also affected. In order to
see I had to push both eyelids up with my hand. Finally my eye
doctor explained to me that the disorder was attributable to the
autoimmune disease myasthenia gravis. The result was a progressive
paralysis of the musculature. On his recommendation I was thoroughly
examined at a university hospital. The diagnosis was confirmed in
the neurology department.
Lifelong medication
The doctor prescribed Mestinon 180 and cortisone for me.
Later I was switched from cortisone to Imurek. To prevent my dying from
paralysis of the breathing or swallowing musculature I was supposed to
take this medication for the rest of my life. As a result of the therapy I
stopped seeing double. Nevertheless I kept having attacks that led to an
increased paralysis. As time went on I had increased trouble breathing. I
quickly became tired from the slightest exertion. Symptoms of extreme
paralysis were noticeable around my mouth: when I tried to swallow when
drinking, the liquid came back up through my nose. My arm became quickly
lame when I brushed my teeth, washed windows or combed my hair. I could
only move my tongue with difficulty and therefore had trouble speaking.
The doctor attributed all the symptoms to an increasing muscle weakness
related to the disease.
There was no talk of healing
The Imurek tablets caused a piercing pain in all the
joints of my body. To avoid becoming stiff and lame I exercised on the
home exerciser, swam for ten minutes once a week and hiked for 30 to 40
minutes - I could do no more. There was no talk of healing. Meanwhile I had
been sick for eight years and was physically and emotionally at an end. It
got to the point that I didn't want to live any more.
The cleansing begins
In April, 2000 I went to the Bruno Groening Circle of
Friends on the recommendation of a friend. Since the complaints were still
troubling me I attended the community hours regularly and absorbed the
Heilstrom. In July, 2000, three months after my introduction, Regelungen*
set in during a community hour. I got very severe pain in my chest and it
was as if my rib cage had exploded. There was also a strong rushing in my
ears. On the way home after the hour was over I suddenly felt so light and
loose and the thought arose in me that I was healed. Shortly thereafter I
was able to stop taking the medication since there were hardly any more
symptoms.
Healing
After six months (in January, 2001) the Regelungen*
disappeared completely and have never returned. Today I am as well and fit
as before, with no restrictions. I can speak completely normally, my
eyelids function well and I can lift my arms again without tiring when
brushing my teeth, combing my hair or washing windows. The shortness of
breath is also a thing of the past.
Medical commentary:
In 1992 Erika Kästner contracted myasthenia
gravis caused by an improper immune reaction resulting from a thymus
gland disturbance. The improperly directed antibodies caused a
restriction of impulse transmission between nerve and muscle,
leading to paralysis. The symptoms were simply treated with
medication. As is often the case, in the beginning there were only
symptoms in the eyes. However the illness developed into the severe
generalized form, attacking the musculature of the facial and oral
areas as well as the musculature of the trunk and limbs. In April,
2000 Mrs. Kästner. was introduced to the teachings of Bruno Groening.
Since January, 2001 - that is, nine months later - Mrs. Kästner has been
completely free from the complaints of many years' duration. And so
it is today, some four years later. As a doctor I am especially
impressed by the clear time connection between the absorption of the
Heilstrom*, the appearance of the regulation pain in the chest area
(location of the thymus gland) and the rapid retrogression of the
paralysis of many years duration. It is a matter here of a
convincing healing through the teachings of Bruno Groening which was
not to be expected from a medical point of view. It can clearly be
attributed to the effect of the Heilstrom*.

Success Report of Uschi Eckes, 60, Düsseldorf, Germany
Community
 At
the age of four I pierced my eardrum with a hairpin. My left ear festered
continually and until I was 16 my middle ear and auditory canal became
inflamed once a month. Often I couldn't go to school because of the severe
pain and wasn't allowed to participate in swimming.
A partial deafness remained
In 1960 my left ear was operated on at the University
Clinic in Düsseldorf, and the eardrum was renewed. Since then I've no
longer had any inflammation. However, the ENT doctor determined after
several examinations that I could hardly hear out of my left ear. I had
to telephone a lot in my professional life and for over 40 years held
the receiver to my right ear because I couldn't understand anything out
of my left ear. In order to write with my right hand I wedged a
receiver-prop between chin and shoulder, which was very annoying.
I also felt insecure on the street because I couldn't
hear cyclists passing by me to the left on the pavement. I also had
trouble understanding everything when conversing. But then I didn't go
to the doctor with this complaint any more - I had already accepted it.
"We help one another ..."
In August, 2002 I was introduced by my sister-in-law
to the teachings of Bruno Groening. In March, 2004 I tuned in especially
one evening for the son of a colleague who was very hard of hearing and
wore powerful hearing aids in both ears. I sincerely asked Bruno Groening
that the boy be healed. I felt a very strong Heilstrom* all over my body,
and my entire body was bathed in a bright light, something I had never
experienced before. It was a wonderful experience for me. Afterward, I
thought that my colleague's son had received healing, which wasn't,
however, the case. I didn't even give a thought to my left ear.
"... God all of us." Bruno Groening
During a community hour I suddenly realized that I
had recently been holding the telephone receiver to my left ear. I asked
a friend to whisper something in my left ear, and I understood it. Thus
I myself had been granted healing that evening. I can hear again
properly from the ear and am full of joy and very happy about it. I now
feel secure on the street and hear the cyclists on the pavement. I can
calmly follow all conversations regardless of where I am sitting or
standing. It is so nice to hold the receiver on the left and listen to
stereo music with headphones. The quality of my life is much better. I
have had a hearing test with very good results.
Medical commentary:
Uschi Eckes suffered until she was 16 from a
chronic inflammation of the middle ear that was remedied by an
operation. However after the operation she was hard of hearing in
her left ear until March, 2004. No hearing aids were used, nor were
any other medical measures taken. It is highly probable that Ms.
Eckes lost the partial deafness of long years' duration after an
intensive connection with the Heilstrom*.
The follow-up examination showed findings
appropriate to her age, which, given her history, would not normally
have been expected.
That Ms. Eckes can hear normally again after so
many years cannot be explained by medically.

The life of Bruno Groening for children, youth and adults
This book describes the life of Bruno Groening. The
individual parts of his life are presented in simple terms so that
children, too, can gain insight into the life of a man who only wanted one
thing: to help and heal. The simple and explanatory language is retained
here.
1. CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH
 Bruno
Groening was born in Gdansk on May 30, 1906. His parents were simple people.
His father August was a bricklayer (foreman) and his mother, too, came
from a family of craftsmen.
When Bruno was still very small his parents noticed that he was different
from the other children. Once when his father came home ranting and raving,
loud voices were suddenly heard from little Bruno's room. When the
startled parents checked on him everything was still again and the little
one was lying peacefully in his crib. After that his father stopped his
ranting and went through the house quietly. This and other similar
experiences alienated his parents and his siblings, as well. His father
even had an uncanny feeling. As Bruno grew up he became more and more of a
stranger for the others. He was considered to be a strange sort and was
often said to be crazy.
A special experience
Disgusted by the callousness of his environment, little
Bruno fled into nature. He felt more attracted to animals, trees and
shrubs than to people. He would often spend the entire day in the woods.
He once wrote in this regard:
"Here I experienced God - in every bush, in every tree,
even in the stones. I was able to stand still everywhere and contemplate
for hours - I had no notion of time - and it was always as if my entire
inner life extended out into infinity."
His parents had no understanding for their son's
excursions. Once when he was fetched and brought home after days in the
woods he was beaten black and blue.
When he couldn't stand it any more at home he ran back
to the woods and prayed to God. He didn't want to live here on earth any
more and said:
"God, why have you sent me here? I don't want to stay
here. I see nothing but evil here. That can't be. I don't want to be here."
God answered:
"You saw the people's distress, misery and pain and
wanted to help them. You asked me to let you come to earth to free them
from it, and I gave you permission. And now you are there!"
Little Bruno - he was only two and a half years old -
knew why he lived on earth and what his task was. He thought to himself:
"Aren't people also your friends? Yes? Then why do I
always run away from people? Animals fear the evil in people, but I'm not
afraid because I'm stronger than the evil. I want to show everyone that
I'm stronger."
"You aren't sick any more"
It soon became clear what he meant by "I'm stronger
than the evil". Animals and people became well in his presence. How this
came about he once described in this way:
"Another thought came to me while I was standing before
the body of a sick person. The illness had disappeared from the bodies of
several animals when I had whispered to myself, 'Dear little animal, you
will soon have a healthy body again' - and that's what had happened. It's no
different with people. When the thought became fixed in me, the body of
the person would become free from all ailments. Thus I was continuously
attracted to sick people, for there were sick people in all the homes
where I suddenly turned up, and I would just keep saying to them, 'You aren't sick any more,' or, if they said they were going to die, I would
simply say, 'No, he won't die for a long time; he'll get well'.
I would only be with the sick person for a short time.
I would approach the sick person and say the above-mentioned words quickly
and softly to the sick person - and then leave quick as a flash".
During the First World War he often went to the
military hospital, where many soldiers who had been injured in the war
were lying. Little Bruno was soon seen by them as a welcome guest. The
wounded felt good in his presence and many became well.
In a resume of his life Bruno Groening wrote concerning
this period:
"During my childhood and youth, which I spent in my
parent's house, I became more and more aware of special abilities which -
emanating me - would exercise a calming or healing influence on people and
animals.
Even when I was a small child sick people would become
free from their ailments in my presence, and children as well as adults
who were upset or quarrelling would become completely calm after a few
words from me. As a child I also found out that animals usually considered
timid or vicious would be good-natured and tame with me. Therefore my
relationship with my parent's house was strange and strained. I soon
strove for complete independence in order to get out of the environment of
'being misunderstood' in my family".
Subservient to God
When he was nine Bruno became ill. He contracted
dysentery, a severe intestinal disease from which many people were dying
at the time. He lost a lot of weight and lay for weeks with a fever. His
parents were desperate and the doctor didn't know what to do. He couldn't
help the boy. Everyone thought he would die. Later he said about this
time:
"I slept for an entire year without any clothing on the
bare floor and went thirsty and hungry. My body was just skin and bones. I
declined to see any doctor or take any human help and became subservient
to the commands of God alone. And when I stood up after a year my body was
well again."
So he had experienced it himself. He had experienced
with his own body that God can help where human beings can no longer help.
Thus he was later able to say with complete conviction:
"There is no such thing as 'incurable'- God is the
greatest physician!"
Schooling and apprenticeship
Bruno never took part in the wild brawls of his
brothers and sisters and the neighborhood children. But the children often
made fun of him, sometimes even hitting him because he was so different.
One of his brothers even broke Bruno's nose, but he never hit back.
He went to school for a total of six years, which was
the normal length of schooling in the elementary school at the time.
Because of the intestinal disease, however, he had missed one year of
instruction.
 After
his schooling he started a commercial apprenticeship, but had to give it
up after two and a half years under pressure from his father. The
bricklayer wanted his son, too, to learn a building trade and had him
trained as a carpenter. But he didn't complete this either. Three months
before the end of the apprenticeship the firm where he was being trained
had to close. In the difficult times after the war there weren't enough
orders. Bruno Groening was out on the street without a certificate of
training. In the following years Bruno Groening worked in many very
different occupations: he started a carpentry business and worked on the
docks, at the post office, in a chocolate factory and as an electrician.
Once he said about this period of time:
"It was especially important to me to have an
apprenticeship in which I could study the knowledge and abilities of
people in all life situations and social levels and see how they
structured their lives. I sought out not only the poorest of the poor, but
also the richest of the rich in order to learn how they lived.
I wasn't interested in a private life in the normal
sense - going to the cinema or to pubs, playing cards, etc."
2. In Gdansk, and the war
He married at 21. But his wife didn't understand him.
She wanted him for herself alone and dismissed his healing as a quirk.
His sons Harald and Günter were born in1931 and 1939,
respectively. They were his great joy, but they died early. Although many
people had already become well through Bruno Groening, his wife didn't
believe in the healing power of her husband. When the children became ill
she kept them away from him and took them both to hospital behind his
back. But the doctors couldn't help. Harald died in Gdansk, Günter later
in Dillenburg. For Bruno Groening these were severe strokes of fortune.
Years later when his sons were mentioned tears would still come to his
eyes.
Therefore the period between the two world wars was for
Bruno Groening a time of preparation for his later work. He had to gather
many a bitter experience in order to be able to understand people in all
life situations and feel their distress.
Further healing
Many healings also took place during this time. A
neighbor said, "I experienced the effect of Bruno Groening's healing power
even in the years when we were neighbors in Gdansk-Langfuhr. I was often
freed from pain ".
 Another
neighbor reported:
"I have known Mr. Groening since 1928 in Gdansk, my home city. Mr. Groening
was at that time already interested in spiritual things and helped and
healed people. I know of around 20 cases that were successful. (...) I
can also provide proof of many cases where Mr. Groening helped children,
for example, who were paralyzed or couldn't hear or see. It worked in all
the cases. We ourselves and the people he helped are still puzzled today.
We used to rack our brains about how such a thing could occur.
Another neighbor later wrote a thorough report about
this time. Here is an excerpt:
"Many times he would go without his sleep or his
earnings. For him there was only one thing: helping. Even back then he was
often called to the sick - even during the night - who would beg for help. But
he never took even a penny for it, whatever it was. On the contrary, he
even gave these people the little money that he had. He even refused to
accept thanks when someone would thank him for some deed, saying that the
person should show his gratitude by also doing good for his fellow man. In
many cases I was able to accompany him and convince myself of his deeds."
Wartime
The Second World War began in 1939. It was a horrible
experience. It was a war that spread over almost the entire world and in
which many millions of people were killed. In 1943 Bruno Groening, too, had
to become a soldier. But he had difficulties. He said:
"Whether you send me to the front or not, I will not
shoot anyone. I cannot do that."
He was threatened with a court martial, and he could
have been sentenced to death. But in the end he was sent to the front,
where the soldiers had to fight the enemy.
But at this same time Bruno Groening's behavior was
marked by a desire to help others. Even at the front he took advantage of
every opportunity to help his comrades or the civilian population.
In a Russian village, for example, he helped starving
people gain access to the army's food stores. Later as a prisoner-of-war
in Russia he arranged for better clothing, food and housing for his
comrades. He helped countless people suffering from nutritional edema -
their abdomens were swollen up - to get well. In the horrors of war he
didn't kill anyone, but he did help many.
Leaving the homeland
When the war was over Bruno Groening returned home at
the end of 1945. But Gdansk was occupied and he couldn't return there any
more. So he went to Dillenburg, where he established himself anew and
called for his family. However, after his second son had died and his wife
wanted to forbid him all helping activity he separated from her. He felt
obligated to pass on the healing energies at his disposal to his fellow
man. He said:
"I belong to no individual; I belong to mankind".
